May the breeze blow new strength into your being,
May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life.

Death Shield
In war death is certain. The white eagle plume signifies longevity in similitude to gray hairs on elders, A war shaman’s prayer was not necessarily a guarantee of returning home. The sunshine’s location when the earth is rotating in orbit to complete a day is relative to the cycle of one’s life. The sunrise being the birth of a child, noon: the prime of man and sunset being the ending of life. In war a peaceful life is upset and cut short: a warrior to die in battle is his setting sun.
